The School Finance Academy: Next Level is the second stage in the School Finance Academy learning pathway, designed for school finance professionals who are ready to build on their foundational knowledge and further develop their expertise. This Academy maintains a strong focus on deepening school finance knowledge and application, while introducing key leadership and communication skills that support effective practice.
Participants engage in 6 full days of focused learning that expand their understanding of school finance operations and strengthen their ability to apply that knowledge in more complex, real-world situations. In addition, participants are introduced to practical strategies for communicating with staff, district leaders, and school boards, as well as approaches that support collaboration, organizational health, and informed financial decision-making. Completion of the School Finance Academy: Foundations is required to participate in this next-level experience.
