Career and Technical Education (CTE) Support Cooperative

Description:

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Cooperative provides technical assistance and professional development to member LEAs in alignment with state and federal guidelines. Through personalized support, districts strengthen CTE program quality, improve student outcomes, and align their programs with accountability indicators, including College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR).

Problem Solving Solutions:

We are committed to providing practical, innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of each district and charter we serve. We listen first—partnering with leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities—and then respond with customized support that is both actionable and aligned with TEA requirements. Whether it’s navigating complex compliance issues, enhancing program effectiveness, or strengthening career pathways, our team brings the expertise and flexibility needed to deliver results.

The Definitive Choice:

By providing the most current TEA guidance and up-to-date compliance requirements to local education agencies (LEAs), we ensure our consultants are not only content experts but also exceptional relationship builders. These strong, personalized connections are the foundation of our approach, allowing us to move beyond support into true capacity building. With Region 20, districts gain a collaborative partner dedicated to equipping educators, empowering students, and advancing CTE programs that meet today’s standards and tomorrow’s needs.

ESC-20 has provided excellent customer service to our CTE department and has helped our CTE teachers obtain their WBL training certificates. They take the time to visit our rural district and provide the same quality training as larger school districts, which we truly appreciate. ESC-20 also provides specific training needed for our CTE teachers and keeps our district informed of TEA accountability requirements.
