Uvalde CISD has greatly benefited from our ongoing partnership with Region 20 in supporting our Gifted and Talented programming. We consistently leverage their expertise for professional learning, and this year in particular, we challenged their team to design dynamic, flexible training experiences that honored our teachers’ time while aligning with multiple district initiatives. Region 20 not only met that challenge, they exceeded it. Their responsiveness and ability to tailor sessions to our specific needs allowed us to expand our reach and impact. As a direct result, we have successfully trained more teachers in Gifted and Talented strategies this year than we have in several years, which we know will lead to better service opportunities for our students. We value Region 20 as a true partner in our work, and their commitment to high-quality, adaptable professional learning continues to make a meaningful difference for educators and students in our district.
