School Safety Cooperative
Description:
The School Safety Cooperative is designed to provide ongoing professional development and technical assistance for district law enforcement, school resource officers, and school administrators responsible for school safety.
Problem Solving Solutions:
The school safety commitment provides the opportunity for all LEA staff to engage in all professional development offerings related to school safety, behavior threat assessment, and school law enforcement. LEAs realize a cost savings of approximately $395 per staff member to attend the workshops and events included with cooperative membership. New services for 2025-2026 will include Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) approved offerings. Additional sessions are also provided at reduced rates or at no additional cost as they become available throughout the year.

The school safety commitment is definitive choice for LEAs due to the ability to receive wrap around school safety services and professional development for a variety and unlimited number of staff members.
