Special Education Cooperative
Description:
The Special Education Cooperative is curated to meet the professional learning demands of modern special education programs. Membership in this cooperative includes access for all LEA staff to all ESC 20 open enrollment special education professional development sessions offered via Connect 20. In addition to unlimited open enrollment sessions, LEAs will be provided with up to 3 individualized professional development follow-up implementation supports in a TEA identified high priority area of their choosing.
Problem Solving Solutions:
The Special Education Cooperative provides professional development training and implementation support aligned with state and federal guidelines. Member LEAs will have access to most Special Education Professional development sessions and receive up to 3 implementation supports from a menu of high priority areas at no additional charge. Joining this cooperative removes the barrier of obtaining individual purchase orders and reduces the overall cost for special education professional development, allowing for greater educator access to priority training.
The Definitive Choice:
All professional development training and technical assistance supports are aligned with state and federal guidelines. Implementation support options are in alignment with required TEA initiatives identified for ESC member training and coaching. All compliance and practice enhancing sessions are offered as part of this coop at no fee or a reduced fee.
